This entry-level assessment course, Assistant Test User (ATU), provide you with the knowledge and skills to administer ability and aptitude tests in support of qualified Test Users (TUA) but not to write test reports or use test results in decision-making.
CURRICULUM
Module 1: The Context of Assessment and Development
Ethics: Duty of Care, Scope/Limits, Accreditation, Ethical/Legal, Insurance, Contracts, Confidentiality, GDPR. Client Suitability: Informed Consent, Language, Literacy, Technology, Accommodations.
Module 2: Varieties of Tests and Applications
Types of Tests: Ability, Aptitude, Attainment, Careers and Personality; of tests in selection and development
Module 3. In-Person Test Administration
In-Person Modes of Testing; Pre-test Issues; Test Materials; Venue/Candidate Preparation; Test Administration Procedures; Security of Test Materials; Confidentiality & Data Protection.
Module 4: Online Test Administration
Secure Modes of Testing; Online Testing Systems; Selection Protocols; Selection and Neuroinclusion; Candidate Preparation; Identity and Security; Documenting Results; Confidentiality & Data Protection.
Module 5: Ethics, Best Practice and Legislation
Ethical/Legal Compliance: Candidates Rights, Legal Obligations, GDPR, Organisational Testing Policy.
