TRAINING
Our training is delivered in suitable conference/hotel venues in the case of public training courses and for in-house courses in a premises of the commissioning organisation's choice. It is our policy to only use venues that, to our knowledge, comply with current health/safety and disability legislation.
Course Fees
Course fees are comprehensive of all training material and their delivery. Course fees do not include the cost of accommodation, car parking fees and meals/refreshments other than those specified for a particular course. Course fees must be pre-paid. In-house fees are agreed on a per-group rather than per-delegate basis cannot be revised and the full fee is due regardless of how many delegates subsequently attend for training. Group course fee discounts may be offered on a sliding scale by group size (min. 8, max 20) but it is the responsibility of the commissioning organisation to ensure agreed group size is attained to avail of the fee schedule. Fees paid for in-house courses apply only to the presentation of the course as designated by venue and dates and cannot be re-scheduled after one month before the scheduled start date. Fees for in-house courses cannot be transferred to public courses - delegates failing to show for in-house courses cannot transfer to a public course without agreement in writing from us. Such transfer, if possible and where agreed, may incur additional fees.
Cancellation
The closing dates for registration is one calendar month before the course start date. Intending delegates are advised that course places are only confirmed on receipt by Psychometrix of the full fee which should reach us by the closing date unless otherwise agreed. Full refunds will be offered in the case of cancellations up to one month before the closing date, 50% refunds up to two weeks before the closing date, and no refund is due after the closing date. In the case of bookings/payments made after the closing date no refund of fees is due. Where Psychometrix considers there to be a genuine reason for cancellation or non-attendance, a place may be offered on a forthcoming public course if one is available. Course fees cannot be transferred from one course to another without our agreement. In this case, it is the responsibility of the intending delegate to ensure the safety and security of any course materials received for use on a subsequent course - the loss of same will incur an additional fee.
Completion of Tests for Training and Test Data Usage
As part of our training in ability and personality assessment, you will be required to complete one or more ability and personality assessments for use in scoring and feedback during the course in order to meet the BPS course requirements. The reports for these assessments are generated by third-party online testing platforms and are passed to you during the course. They are not viewed by us at any stage except with your permission during the course where our help with interpretation may be needed. To monitor the psychometric properties of these instruments, we would like to retain the raw scores anonymously - removing any personal identifiers and tagging the data with a randomly assigned subject number. To enquire further or to opt out, please send us your request by email to:info@psychometrix.eu.
TEST PURCHASES
As we supply test products and services provided to us by third parties (tests publishers and online testing platform providers) we cannot guarantee the quality of their products and services. It is our suppliers' guarantee to us that such products and services will function as specified and as advertised to you, and while we will work in every way to ensure you get the products you order, we cannot guarantee theses services against breakdown or that they will not be offline on occasion for maintenance or repair. We will inform you of any scheduled downtime and respond immediately to rectify as far as we can any lapse in service from our online suppliers.
Test Products
It is up to you, the buyer, to satisfy yourself that the tests you choose are suitable and appropriate for the situations you require them for. It is beyond our capacity to carry out in-depth analysis of all of the products in our catalogue and the inclusion of products in our catalogue is based on the guarantees of the supplier. You may also find additional information on particular tests if they have been peer-reviewed at the Psychological Testing Center, the Buros Institute, or elsewhere (search on Google).
Test Use Credit Purchase and Returns Policy
To use any of the tests we offer for online use, test use credits must first be purchased. Purchase of test use credits on our website constitutes a contract of sale. After purchase, credits can only be refunded before log-in codes are sent to the user, and this usually happens within twenty-four hours of purchase. Once test use credits have been used by us to generate online passwords for users for specific tests, credits cannot be used again in any way or transferred to use with other tests.
