We have run this workshop for over 600 career and coaching professionals over the past eight years. Delegates have found it extremely useful in getting their business organised and off the ground, or in developing their current business. The workshop is experiential and interactive,
and designed to get you thinking about what you want your business to look like and the unique value that only you can offer to your clients.

Module 1: Clarify Your Niche
Define your niche and target market to clarify the services you will offer, your branding and your marketing strategy and objectives. Ask yourself: Who do I want to serve? (e.g., individuals, professionals, leaders, small businesses); What specific challenges do I want to help clients solve? (e.g., career transitions, leadership development, personal growth, work-life balance).
Module 2: Review Your Readiness
We help you review your bio/C.V. to identify training/skills/experience gaps. Professional coaching and/or career guidance certification is essential for customers' credibility and confidence in you. See our other accredited courses such as: Professional Certificate in Coaching Science; Advanced Diploma in Coaching Science; and Certificates of Competence in Occupational and Educational Testing.
Module 3: Business Planning
A clear plan helps guide your decisions and keep you on track as you grow your practice, including: Mission and vision; Services and pricing; Revenue goals and projections; and Marketing strategy.
Module 4: Create Your Coaching Packages and Offers
Based on your niche, create service packages that provide clear value, for example: Single session coaching; Coaching packages; Group coaching; Workshops and webinars; VIP days/intensive sessions.
Module 5: Legal and Financial Setup
Ensure that your business is legally compliant and financially organized: Register your business; Get insurance; Open a business bank account; Engage an Accountant for Tax/VAT/Salary etc.

Module 6: Build Your Brand and Online Presence
To attract clients, you need to create a professional brand and a strong online presence through:
A strong, clear website; Testimonials and reviews; Social media presence; Valuable customer content.

Module 7: Market Your Coaching Practice
Develop a marketing strategy to attract clients through: Local and national networking; Customer referrals; Paid advertising; Content marketing; Partnerships and collaborations.

8. Create a Client Onboarding Process
Once you start getting clients, develop a streamlined process to bring them on board to include: Discovery sessions: Contract and payment: Onboarding materials; Coaching session value.

9. Continue Professional Development
Coaching is an evolving field, and continuing to develop your skills and knowledge is essential. Attend workshops, read books, get feedback from clients, and invest in your personal and professional growth.

10. Track and Adjust
To ensure you are on the right track, monitor key metrics like: Client acquisition and retention; Financial performance (revenue vs. expenses); Marketing effectiveness (website traffic, social media engagement, ad performance); Client satisfaction and feedback; and, most importantly, 'Is your business bringing you the satisfaction and quality of life you wanted/want?'
