Our Professional Certificate in Coaching Science confers the Accredited
Certificate in Coach Training (ACCT) accredited by the Association for Coaching

 

The Professional Certificate is initial training for coaches seeking to develop their coaching skills

and learn the fundamentals of interpersonal communication, interaction and support. The course:

  • Advances your ability to use a broad range of methods and tools to work with clients

  • Instructs you in working with a specific set of coaching competencies and ethical guidelines

  • Develops competency through written assignments, reflective practice, feedback and supervision

  • Provides the qualification needed to progress to Executive Coach or Professional Executive Coach
     

​The Advanced Diploma in Coaching Science (Modules 1-7)
Our Advanced Diploma in Coaching Science confers the Accredited Advanced
Diploma in Coach Training (AADCT) accredited by the Association for Coaching​

 

The Advanced Diploma is advanced training in developing expert skills and coaching mastery

for coaches having already completed basic or intermediate training. The course:

  • Further advances your coaching skills and practice beyond fundamental coaching level

  • Provides in-depth, evidence-based theory and application of several coaching approaches

  • Develops your ability to flexibly apply a range of techniques in coaching situations

  • Includes 1-to-1/group supervision, observation, feedback, reflexive practice, critical enquiry

  • Trains you in using tests of ability, personality, and psychological health and wellbeing in coaching

  • Confers the BPS*-accredited training in Occupational Testing (TUOAP) and Forensic Testing (CCFT)

  • Offers the required training to progress to Professional Executive or Master Executive Coach​

Module 1: Coaching and Preparation (1 Day)

The boundaries, possibilities and limits of coaching; accreditation, ethical and legal professional issues - insurance, contracts, confidentiality and GDPR. Personal preparation: professional goals and objectives.

 

Module 2: Presence and Rapport (1 Day)

Grounding, Breathwork, Relaxation, Focusing, Connecting, Inviting, Listening, Summarising, Questioning.

 

Module 3: Objectives and Identity (1 Day)

Client objectives and goals and identity; behaviours, emotion, values, traits/states/situations, narrative.

 

Module 4: Facilitating Strategic Change (2 Days)

Developing a strategy: client purpose, motivation, reward; resources: self-efficacy. Resistance to change: Somatic/Change: Body/Emotion/Mind – Create, Organise, Relate, Engage (Psychometrix CORE Model).

 

Module 5: Coaching for Personal and Leadership Mastery (3 Days)

Coaching effectiveness, achievement and excellence with specialists, teams and leaders using measures of personality, including: 15FQ+, Jungian Type, Emotional Intelligence & Motivational Values.

Award: British Psychological Society Certificate in Occupational Testing (TUOAP).

Module 6: Coaching Psychological Health and Wellbeing (3 Days)

Coaching across the body-mind spectrum from normal to clinical syndromes including using measures of psychological wellbeing, neurodiversity, mental health and rish and psychopathology.

Award: British Psychological Society Certificate in Forensic Testing (CCFT)​.

Module 7: Becoming and Being A Coach (1 Day)

Setting Up Practice. Purpose/Story, Community; Value/Pricing, Brand/Marketing, Administration.

Growing Your Practice: Self-care, Narrative, Vision, Expertise, Mastery, Supervision, CPD.

Learn how to help clients to balance, integrate, achieve and excel with our unique courses in Coaching Science. Based on psychological research and practice in embodied cognition, neuro-science and psychometrics, this course gives you the comprehensive training you need, at the highest level, to be an exceptional coach.
